Seeing the Unseen: Moments Through the Lens

The quiet drama of street corners. Fleeting interactions. The shifting moods of light.

Some stories are simply portrayed better in pictures than words, and these are the moments I try to capture.

Welcome to my collection of photography, spanning 30 years across France and other parts of the world.

Early Exposure

My photographic education began alongside my father, a village veterinarian in the province of Berry, France. Wherever we went, he was rarely without his cameras, teaching me to see the unfolding story of the countryside and its people.

Though I studied mathematics and science at university, it was through the lens that I found my true language. I moved to New York and was given a Nikon F, which enabled me to nurture my passion by photographing the city.

From there, I relocated to San Diego, California, where I continued to study photography, learned the precision of film development in the darkroom, and earned a bachelor’s in art, communication and women’s studies.

This journey has informed my approach to visual communication: opening our eyes to scenes that often go unnoticed.
